My Travels

The Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Phnom Penh are two of the most heartbreaking places I have ever been too.

Mui Ne and Saigon gave us a mixture of some beautiful sand dunes and the stark reality of the horrific Vietnamese War.

We escaped the storm in Hue, had a suit made in Hoi An and partied in Nha Trang!

27 hours of hell on the worst bus journey ever to get to Vietnam…

What a couple of days in Vang Vieng – we were robbed and I spent our day tubing down the Nam Song River practically blind!

Bowling, cycling, swimming in waterfalls and mostly enjoying beautiful Luang Prabang.

A beautiful sleeper train journey from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, a great couple of days in Chiang Mai and then arriving in Laos via the most picturesque airport ever!

So this is it – I am now a traveller! I made it to Bangkok and it is hectic, it is hot, it is cheap and it is smelly – I love it!

So this is it – the moment finally arrived after months or more like years of planning. I traveled to Heathrow to get on a plane by myself for the first time ever and leave the country.

Tonbridge

Tomorrow I will get on a flight (by myself for the first time ever), leave Europe (first time ever) and start my trip around the world (also first time ever). Yikes!
