Just a few years back I was a nervous, naive and totally unexperienced young guy who wanted to leave England, expand my horizons and see the world despite barely having been out of my own country.

Trouble was I had no idea where or how to start planning such an adventure - I eventually did and went on to travel round the world for two years - it was the best time of my life.
